Raj Shah

Raj Shah is CFO and Operating Partner at Claret Capital Partners. He brings over 20 years’ experience in private capital and financial services. Raj spent 13 years at 17Capital, where he held senior finance leadership roles and later served as CFO, playing a key role in scaling the firm from approximately $200m to nearly $20bn in assets under management. Prior to this, he spent four years at Bowmark Capital. His background spans fund finance and structuring, financial management, operational scaling, governance, and building institutional-grade investment platforms. Raj holds an MSc in Technology, Exploitation and Management from Queen Mary University of London, a BEng in Internet Engineering from Brunel University, and is a member of the Association of Chartered Management Accountants (ACMA).
